A cross-country skier from Brazil won mass-start in alternative skiing.

The unexpected success of South American athlete in 10 km race was explained by her intensive summer training program and early winter training session in highlands. 23 y.o. Isadora Santos brought first gold of the XVIII Winter Deaflympics for Brazil.

«I was very worried that I will get cold in Khanty-Mansiysk, – said an athlete. – Here you have a totally different climate. But today the weather was helping me to win».
