Hungarian athletes are in love with Ugra!

The deputy head of the General Assembly of komitat Zala, Hungary Imre Pachoni has arrived to Russia a few days ago and headed directly to Ugra to support the Deaflympic team of Hungary. Today in the Ice Palace of Khanty-Mansiysk he has watched the curling game Hungary vs. China.

Upon the end of the game Imre Pachoni has greeted Hungarian athletes and had a small talk with each of them. Then he found several minutes to answer the questions of the media-center of the Games.

- This is my first time in Russia. I liked the Opening Ceremony very much. The program was very spectacular; I especially liked the motives dedicated to the indigenous peoples of the North. I was also happy to see young people on the stage, it was so exciting.

-How do you develop deaf sports in Hungary?

- In Hungary like in Russia we have a lot of special events and sport competitions for deaf athletes and athletes with physical disabilities.

- I have talked to Hungarian athletes. What are their plans for this tournament? Are they satisfied with everything?

- The only minus for the athletes is a cold weather on the first days of their stay. But that is not a fault of the organizers (laughs). Everything was great! Our athletes like Ugra, they feel in love with it!
