The preparation of readying sport venues completed approximately one month prior to the start of Deaflympics. The actual readiness of sport venues will be signed a week before the event. As officially announced, the 18th Winter Deaflympics will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk and Magnitogorsk from 28 March to 5 April. There will be five sporting events - snowboarding, ice hockey, cross-country skiing, curling and skiing - approximately 450 athletes from 27 countries will compete. The 18th Winter Deaflympics will be held at five different sport venues. Deaflympics will take place at the Ice Palace, “Arena-UGRA”, “Kvoyny Urman” ski resort, and Winter Sports centre of the Alexander Filipenko.
