Welcome to the 18th Winter Deaflympics in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia!
In Khanty-Mansiysk, the conditions for winter sport events are excellent. All sporting venues, with the exception of alpine skiing, are nearby. The opening ceremony of Deaflympics will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk on March 28, 2015. There will be five different events: ice hockey, curling, cross-country skiing, snowboard and alpine skiing. Alpine skiing competitions will be hosted in the city of Magnitogorsk. There is a certified alpine skiing track.
All requirements have been met for the event. Upon completion of competitions, alpine skiers will fly back to Khanty-Mansiysk for awards ceremonies. The closing ceremony of the 18th winter Deaflympics will be on 5th April.
